18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. male or female, aged between 18 and 65 years; 2. match the diagnostic criteria of Migraine with/without aura; 3. have had 2 to 8 migraine attacks, but less than 15 days of attacks per month during the previous 3 months; 4. suffering from migraine attack for at least 1 year; 5. have completed the headache diary; 6. provided written informed consent by themselves or their family members.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. having cerebral vascular diseases, intracranial aneurysms, and space-occupying lesions and other intracranial organic diseases examined Brain CT, CTA,MRI,and MRA; 2. with severe life-threatening primary diseases such as cardiovascular, cerebrovascular,hepatic,renal,and hematopoietic systems; 3. with a history of cluster headache,hemiplegic or basilar migraine; 4. having a mental illness or a serious cognitive impairment; 5. those who have used prophylactic drugs like beta adrenoceptor blockers, calcium antagonists, antiepileptic drugs, antidepressant drugs, 5-HT receptor blockers or received acupuncture treatment in the previous 1 month; 6. pregnant women, women in lactation, and those planning to become pregnant; 7. involvement in other RCTs.
