Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients who signed a consent form; 2. Patients undergoing selective abdominal surgery under general anesthesia; 3. aged 65-90 years old; 4. ASA classification I-III; 5. operative time 1-6 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients who have gastrointestinal motility disorder; 2. A history of abdominal surgery; 3. Severe hepatic and renal dysfunction; 4. II-III auriculo-ventricular block; 5. heart rate below 50 beats per minute; 6. have mental illness; 7. history of difficult airway or delayed exhubation; 8. Abusing narcotic sedative analgesics; 9. be allergy to dexmedetomidine or other anesthetic drugs.
