Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) being voluntary and having signed informed consent; (2) grossly displaced acetabular fractures; (3) imaging revealed comminuted fracture which invole quadrilateral area; (4) fresh fractures within 3 weeks from the injury to the operation; (5) those with the surgical indications (unstable fracture, early conservative treatment ineffective); (6) follow-up time of more than 6 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients who refused to sign the informed consent form to participate in the trial; (2) a displaced acetabular or pelvic fracture on the opposite side of the surgical side; (3) the posterior wall fracture of the acetabulum with the posterior approach to complete the operation; (4) the patients with lower limb deformity and dysfunction prior to the injury or with a history of ipsilateral abdominal surgery; (5) patients with surgical contraindications, such as serious heart disease and coagulation disoder; (6) difficulties in following up and even easy to lose the visitors; (7) other cases in which the researchers did not consider it appropriate to participate in the study.
