Group A:preoperative intercostal block with 2ml 1.19% ropivacaine + postoperative intercostal block with 2ml saline solution + patient-controlled ananlgesia
Group B:preoperative intercostal block with 2ml saline solution + postoperative intercostal block with 2ml 1.19% ropivacaine + patient-controlled ananlgesia
Group C:preoperative intercostal block with 2ml 1.19% ropivacaine + postoperative intercostal block with 2ml 1.19% ropivacaine + patient-controlled ananlgesia
Group D:preoperative intercostal block with 2ml saline solution + postoperative intercostal block with 2ml saline solution + patient-controlled ananlgesia

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients with video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery; 2. ASA 1-3.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. preoperative thoracic pain; 2. continuous use of analgesics before surgery; 3. radiotherapy on the chest berore surgery; 4. the inability to express pain scores because of comorbidities such as mental retardation; 5. allergy to ropivacaine; 6. history of thoracic surgery; 7. surgical procedure including parietal pleura resection or chest wall resection.
