Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: osteoarthritis (OA) or osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) undergoing unilateral THA

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: developmental dysplasia of hip, rheumatoid arthritis, revision surgery, a history with thrombosis, patients with infection, allergy to the TXA, uncontrolled hypertension, body mass index (BMI) >35 kg/m2, and preoperative anemia
