Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. KDIGO stage 2 and 3; 2. age=18 years; 3. staying in ICU at least 3 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous RRT; 2. Pregnancy; 3. Prior kidney transplantation; 4. No hemofiltration machine free for use at the moment of inclusion; and 5. participation in another interventional clinical trial.
