Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) skeletally mature; (2) elbow stiffness with ROM less than 100 degree; (3) caused by trauma; (4) treated with open arthrolysis; (5) at least one year of follow-up period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) prior elbow arthrolysis; (2) associated with severe burns or central nervous system injuries; (3) inflammatory arthritis, nonunion or malunion of the elbow; (4) severe articular damage requiring joint arthroplasty; (5) receiving other elbow surgery during the follow-up period; (6) unwillingness to participate in the study.
