Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) acute, AC joint dislocation (grade III, IV, and V) determined according to the classification described by Rockwood et al or distal clavicle fractures (type II) determined according to the classification described by Neer et al.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. other types (grade I, II, and VI) of AC joint dislocations or other types (Neer I and Neer III) of distal clavicle fractures; 2. more than 14 days of trauma; 3. With history of AC joint dislocation and distal clavicle fractures or other shoulder trauma;
