Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients were diagnosed as liver cirrhosis by clinical, biochemical and imaging examinations; 2. No EV or mild EV and no gastric varices were found by electronic gastroscopy (OLYMPUS CV260L).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Except those who had previously received ligation, sclerotherapy, tissue adhesive and splenectomy.
