Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: This study enrolled at least 100 patients to undergo one-stop intervention for AF at the West China Hospital, Sichuan University, from September 2016 to September 2018. The inclusion criteria for this study were as follows:symptomatic nonrheumatic AF, age > 18 years, CHA2DS2-VASc score > 2 points, HAS-BLED score > 3 points, agreement to receive aspirin and clopidogrel postoperatively as double antiplatelet therapy for 6 months, and agreement to join the study and sign the informed consent form for catheter ablation and LAA closure.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were as follows: comorbid unstable angina or acute myocardial infarction; a left atrial inner diameter > 65 mm; valvular heart disease; left atrial thrombus; a history of LAA ligation; history of inferior vena cava filter placement surgery; severe infection; tumors; other systemic disease; new stroke episodes within 1 month; active bleeding disease or peptic ulcers that have not healed; refusal of surgery; and allergy to aspirin, clopidogrel, heparin, and other drugs or nickel-chromium alloys.
