Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Only those who meet all the following criteria can be included in this study: 1. daily smokers, smoking history more than 5 years and smoke more than 10 cigarettes per day for nearly 12 months; 2. willing to quit smoking; 3. aged between 18 to 85 years; 4. exhaled CO test: higher than 10ppm; 5. willing to participate in this study and sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients meeting either of the following criteria are excluded from the study: 1. allergic to varenicline, bupropion or similar ingredients; 2. have received other smoking cessation treatment within 30 days; 3. pregnant or lactating woman; 4. with severe disease of heart, lung, brain or hematologic system, including but not limited to acute myocardial infarction, severe arrhythmia, unstable angina, poorly-controlled hypertension within 2 weeks; 5. with psychiatric disorders or drug users; 6. with other illnesses or mental states that could not meet the needs of the study determined by researchers.
