Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A prospective study was conducted, in which all patients hospitalized for more than 5 days in our ICU over a 3-year period (JAN 2019 to DEC 2021) were consecutively included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pediatric patients, patients with lung diseases including acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD), severe pneumonia and pulmonary hypertension, and patients with heart diseases including congenital heart disease, acute coronary syndrome and malignant arrhythmia were excluded.
