Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Primary osteoporosis patients; 2. Acute low back pain developed within 3 days after minor trauma; 3. X-ray or MRI diagnosis of single Segment Thoracolumbar vertebral Compression fracture; 4. TLOFS<5; 5. Informed consent to conservative treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. multiple or previous vertebral fractures; 2. Previous history of spinal surgery; 3. Severe degenerative changes of the spine, such as osteoarthritis, scoliosis, etc.; 4. Malignant compression fractures, such as multiple myeloma, spinal metastases, etc.; 5. Patients with metabolic or hormonal disorders affecting the skeletal structure except osteoporosis; 6. patients receiving medications with known effects on bone metabolism; 7. dementia/cognitive impairment; 8. patients with neurological deficits secondary to osteoporotic fracture.
