Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. fasting blood-glucose <7.0mmol/L and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose <11.1 mmol/L in 75g oral glucose tolerance test, and glycosylated hemoglobin <6.5%; 2. BMI=24kg/m2 and waistline =90cm in male, =85cm in female; 3. aged 18-40 years old and take a sedentary lifestyle (sedentary time is more than 3 hours per day and moderate intensity exercise is less than 150 minutes per week); 4. Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. women with fertility, pregnancy, breastfeeding, plan to pregnant during the study period, or not using appropriate contraception measures; 2. severe liver disease (ALT/AST > 1.5 times of the normal upper limit); 3. with unstable or severe angina, heart failure (NYHA III/IV); 4. with malignant tumors, tuberculosis, blood disease, mental disease, autoimmune diseases, obvious digestion and absorption disease, acute cerebrovascular in the latest 6 months; 5. with drinking/smoking history; 6. treating with drugs which affect glucose metabolism, such as glucocorticoids, thyoxine; 7. renal dysfunction, defined as serum creatinine = 135µmol/L (=1.5 mg/dL) in male and =110 µmol/L (=1.3 mg/dL) in female; 8. repeated episodes of severe hypoglycemia or unconscious hypoglycemic; 9. with history of subtotal gastrectomy; 10. losing weight in the latest 1 month either by keeping on diet or by exercising; 11. without the ability to control oneself; 12. With history of hypertension, coronary heart disease and cerebral infarction; 13. With hepatic, renal and thyroid dysfunction; 14. With history of diabetes.
