Control group:atorvastatin, 20 mg once daily for 3 months
Intervention group:atorvastatin, 20 mg once daily, clopidogrel, 75 mg once daily for 3 months

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with carotid atherosclerosis; Signed informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of coronary artery disease, stroke or peripheral artery disease (PAD); 2. Pregnancy and lactation; 3. Renal failure; 4. active infection; 5. Liver disease.
