Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants were eligible for inclusion if they were diagnosed with mild asthma or moderate asthma according to the guideline of Global Strategy for Asthma Management and Prevention (2016 update). The age at the time of enrollment ranged from 6 to 12 years. Children and their parents could use spacer, pressurized metered dose inhaler, asthma software, and Childhood Asthma Control Test. Patients and/or their children signed written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. patients diagnosed with severe asthma; 2. negative asthma predictive index; 3. known or suspected rhinosinusitis, obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome, rheumatic diseases, primary immunodeficiency, etc., 4. those with a history of bronchopulmonary dysplasia, bronchiectasis, tracheobronchomalacia, bronchiolitis obliterans, diffuse panbronchiolitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, other conditions likely to interfere with the study; 5. those who are unwilling to use ICS.
