Age
18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) aged 18-65 years; (2) the history of ankle sprain for more than 3 months; (3) has suffered ankle sprain causing local swelling, pain and activity limitation above 24h. (4) local pressure pain on the lateral side of the ankle; (5) feel giving way at least twice of affected ankle; (6) Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool score = 25 points.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) short term fracture of the lower extremities; (2) acute ankle sprain; (3) the fracture of the lateral ankle ligament needs to be repaired. (4) the vestibule and patients with balance dysfunction; (5) pregnant and lactation patients; (6) did not sign the informed consent.
