Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) hospitalized patients whose main symptoms were acid reflux, heartburn and poststernal pain , with anxiety and (or) depression; 2) patients older than 60 years; 3) Patients diagnosed with GERD on the Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Questionnaire (Gred Q) were investigated and a score of 10 was used as the diagnostic criteria for GERD; 4) All selected patients were conscious and able to answer questions independently and clearly.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with heart and hepatobiliary diseases; (2) Malignant tumors at any site; (3) Liver cirrhosis; (4) ulcer in digestvie organ.
