Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Between the ages of 18 and 65 years; (2) According to the classification criteria for acute gout developed by the American rheumatism association in 1977; (3) According to the criteria for the diagnosis of gout and the classification of syndromes, compiled by the Department of Medical and political Affairs of the State Administration of traditional Chinese Medicine in 1995, the criteria for the diagnosis of gout are as follows: acute gout with dampness and heat accumulation syndrome; (4) Gout attacks within 48h of screening; (5) the most painful joint was defined as the index joint, and the degree of pain in the index joint was at least moderate or was greater than 2 points on a Likert scale; (6) informed consent was obtained.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) chronic gouty arthritis stage; (2) clinical suspicion of joint infection or other joint disease; (3) polyarticular gout involving more than four joints; (4) pregnancy, preparation for pregnancy or breast-feeding; (5) liver disease activity or abnormal liver function; (6) upper limit of normal value of blood creatinine; (7) abnormal reduction of white blood cells, hemoglobin or platelets on routine blood tests, or other diseases of the blood system; (8) coronary heart disease, heart failure, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, or a history of peptic ulcer; (9) use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or corticosteroids within 48 h before the baseline assessments; (10) allergic to any of the study drugs; (11) and mental illness or mental disorder.
