Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged= 18 years; 2. according to the provisions of WHO stroke definition, namely clinical signs of focal neurological impairment or comprehensive clinical signs of neurological deficit lasting more than 24 hours, including cerebral infarction, intracerebral hemorrhage and subarachnoid hemorrhage. (patients with cerebral infarction acquiring remission after thrombolysis can also be included); 3. within 14 days of hospitalization; 4. signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The other non-vascular causes (such as primary brain tumor, brain metastases, subdural hematoma, postictal paralysis, brain trauma) lead to brain dysfunction; 2. The patients with a previous history of depression or dementia; 3. The disturbance of eyesight, hearing or lspeaking, the disturbance of consciousness and understanding to complete the examination; 4. unable to complete the follow-up.
