Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) diagnosis of patient was TCS; (2) age of patient was less than 15-year-old; (3) surgery was adopted in Department of Neurosurgery, PLA General Hospital; (4) patient and relatives understood the surgical procedure and signed the informed consent agreement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) simultaneous surgery of other spinal diseases (i.e., spinal dural arteriovenous fistula (SDAVF), neurenteric cyst, sacral canal cyst, etc.); (2) simultaneous surgery of different types of TCS (i.e., patients underwent surgery on both split cord malformation and lipoma); (3) extra dural surgery.
