Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were adult AKI patients of stage 3 according to KDIGO guideline, with high risk factors for bleeding including post-major surgeries involving heart, chest, abdomen, spine or brain, coagulopathy (PT or APTT > 1.5 times the normal control, or PT > 18s, APTT > 60s) and/or thrombocytopenia (< 50×10^9/L) induced by trauma, sepsis or active bleeding, and combined therapy with anticoagulant, antiplatelet or thrombolytic agents. The CRRT was initiated within 3 h after randomization.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: severe liver failure (serum total bilirubin > 171 µmmol/L).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
filter survival;ICU survival;

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
causes of filter replacement;systemic total calcium;systemic ionized calcium;post-filter ionized calcium;expense on CRRT;citrate concentration in systemic plasma;citrate concentration of post-filter plasma;citrate concentration of ultrafiltrate;CRRT supporting time;volume of packed red blood cells transfusion during CRRT;volume of platelet transfusion during CRRT;the ratio of total calcium/ionized calcium;
