Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Chronic anal fissure was defined as a persistent anal fissure after the failure of hygienic and dietary measures (warm sitz bath, high-fiber diet, and high intake of liquids- and analgesics) over at least a 6-week period, the presence of induration (fibrosis), skin tags, visible internal anal sphincter fibers, or hypertrophied anal papilla.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Excluded from the study were patients with associated anal pathologies, intestinal inflammation disorders or fissure secondary to an underlying disease (acquired immuno-deficiency syndrome, tuberculosis, sexually transmitted disease), immunosuppression,- patients with a history of headaches or heart disease, patients allergic to Ma Ying Long Musk Hemorrhoids Ointmen,pregnant and lactating women
