18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with higher fasting blood glucose (more than 6.1 mmol/L) who are going to undergo non-cardiac, non-neuro and elective major surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients younger than 18 years old or older than 70 years old; Patients with psychosocial diseases could not be matched with postoperative follow-up and data collection; Patients who were not willing to join this study; Patients with active heart disease; Patients with physical reserve metabolic equivalent of less than 4; Patients with higher fasting blood glucose than 10 mmol/L; Patients with ASA classification greater than 3.
