16 Years to 42 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with ankle sprain for 1-7 days; 2. Patients requiring surgery for repair of LCL of the ankle: (1) complicated by grade III calcaneofibular ligament tear; (2) complete LCL tear; (3) partial LCL tear (the patient is young and has exercise requirement, he or she wishes to undergo surgical treatment; 3. Aged 16-42 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Interval between MRI and ultrasound examination exceeds 3 days; 2. Ankle infection; 3. Ankle fracture.
