Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who came to gastroenterology outpatient department for diagnostic colonoscopy were eligible for the study: 1. Patients had to be aged 20 to 65 years old, willing and able to complete the entire procedure after given written informed consent according to the Declaration of Helsinki; 2. Consent to publish and report individual data from all the patients were also obtained.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute and/or chronic renal failure; 2. Congestive heart failure (in any NYHA grade); 3. Unstable angina; 4. Liver cirrhosis; 5. Toxic or congenital megacolon; 6. Intestinal obstruction; 7. Bowel perforation; 8. History of abdominal surgery (involving gastrointestinal tract, uterine, or liver); 9. Psychiatry disorders.
