Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) severe infection and septic shock were consistent with the diagnostic criteria of the American Association of Chest Physicians / critical medical associations in 2012; (2) severe infection and septic shock were in accordance with the 2012 countries The guideline for interventilatory shock was given corresponding treatment; (3) mechanical ventilation with endotracheal intubation; and HR > 100 times /min.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) age < 18 years; (2) pregnancy; (3) Contraindication of arteria or internal jugular vein catheterization or rejection of pulse indication.Invasive cardiac output (PiCCO) monitoring and other invasive procedures.Failure, unstable angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, left ventricular ejection fraction <0.30. Bradycardia or heart block; central nervous system work. It can be combined with neurogenic shock, cerebrovascular accident and raumatic brain injury. The hemodynamics of vasoactive drugs is still fluctuating significantly.
