Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients fulfilled the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia according to the International Classification of Diseases(ICD) which was assessed by two professional psychiatrists; 2. They were in remission, got Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale item scores of=3 on delusions, unusual thought content, hallucinatory behavior, conceptual disorganization, mannerisms/posturing, blunted affect, social withdrawal and lack of spontaneity for at least 6 months; 3. Han ethnicity; 4. aged 18 to 55 years, a full scale IQ score=85, years of education=6; 5. only be treated with second-generation atypical antipsychotics; 6. Normal visual acuity or corrected vision, right-handed and can complete various experimental tests.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. MRI or CT evidence of structural brain abnormalities, a history of neurological disorders (e.g., cerebral trauma, seizure disorder) or significant medical illness; 2. a history of oligophrenia; 3. be treated with electroshock in the past year, substance or drug abuse (except smoking) in the past 30 days; 4. be treated with first-generation atypical antipsychotics.
