Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) the existence of mild to moderate (Pillsbury I-III grade) acne on the face and back skin; 2) Aged 14–40 years; 3) no use of anti-acne agents (at least 3 months before the baseline); 4) agreed to the receive salicylic acid peel and sign the informed consent; 5) patients under 18 years old need the informed consent from their custodian.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) patients with skin damage in the treatment sites; 2) use other drugs at the same time; 3) allergic to salicylic acid or other ingredients in the agent; 4) patients with skin disorder that may affect the evaluation, such as dermatitis or eczema; 5) systemic use of retinoids in 6 months before the baseline; 6) systemic use of glucocorticoids, sex hormone, antibiotics and other anti-acne agents in 4 weeks before baseline; 7) topical use of glucocorticoids, sex hormone, antibiotics and other anti-acne agents in 2 weeks before baseline; 8) patients receiving other chemical peeling in 2-4 weeks before baseline; 9) pregnancy and lactation; 10) patients using oral contraceptive; 11) patients with abnormal liver or renal function; 12) patients with unrealistic expectation; 13) patients with nervous system diseases or mental disease.
