Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Individuals are between 50 to 70 years of age with or without T2DM, with no use of ocular medication or surgery within the past 3 month, without ocular injury and diseases such as infection, allergy, glaucoma, and autoimmune diseases, and with no history of systemic diseases or use of systemic medications that may affect tear production or quality.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: People with proliferative diabetic retinopathy; People who had the history of corneal virus infection or had confirmed periphery neural diseases not related with DM; People who had undergone previous corneal or had ocular surgery or chronic use of topical ocular medications or use of ocular medication in recent 3 months;People who had severe systemic diseases influencing ocular or nerves.
