Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients are above 18-year old; 2. Patients have finished primary 9-year education in China; 3 Patients undergo general surgery; 4 Patients are not involved in other clinical trials.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients have mental illness or cognitive dysfunction; 2. Patients are unable to complete Mini-Mental State Examination test due to their visual/auditory disease; 3. Patients are in advanced stage of cardiac, pulmonary, liver or renal disease; 4. Other conditions, including cannot understand Chinese language.
