Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged 18-40years, nulliparous, 37-42 weeks of gestation, expecting vaginal delivery, cephalic presentation, single healthy fetus, spontaneous onset of regular uterus contraction, the first stage of labor, verbal numerical rate scaling (VNRS) score (0-10) in low back during uterine contraction >= 4, require epidural analgesia and provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: contraindications for epidural analgesia, refusal to participate, axillary temperature > 37.5 ?, cervical dilatation=6 cm, second -stage labor, pharmacological analgesia before participating, and infection in the lumbosacral portion.
