Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) the preoperative examination results were in line with the diagnostic criteria of adenocarcinoma (AEG) of the gastroesophageal junction; (2) the preoperative examination was consistent with T0-4N0-3M0; (3) D2 radical operation for gastric cancer was practicable; (4) there was no serious basic disease of internal medicine, and could tolerate radical gastrectomy or extended radical resection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) pregnant or lactation women; (2) severe mental disorders; (3) prior abdominal surgery (except laparoscopic cholecystectomy), such as gastrectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, or endoscopic submucosal dissection; (4) preoperative imaging showed a swelling or larger volume of regional lymph node diameter > 3cm; (5) 5 years with other malignant diseases; (6) early neoadjuvant chemotherapy or radiotherapy; (7) unstable angina, myocardial infarction, or cerebrovascular accident within 6 months; (8) continuous systematic administration of corticosteroids within 1 months; (9) other serious complications; (10) FEV1 <50%.
