Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-65 years old; 2. Rome ? standards of the functional constipation developed and officially released by American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) in 2016 will be used: (1) meeting the following two or more standards: 1) defecation difficulties (at least once every 4 defecations); 2) whose stools are block-shaped or hard (at least once every 4 defecations); 3) has defecating unfinished feeling (at least once every 4 defecations); 4) has anorectal obstruction or obstruction feeling (at least once every 4 defecations); 5) needs artificial assistance (at least once every 4 defecations); 6) <3 defecations per week; (2) Almost no loose stools without the usage of laxatives; (3) diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome without adequate proofs.*Before diagnosis, symptoms appeared at least 6 months ago, and the above diagnostic criteria were met for 3 months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Abdominal and/or intestinal surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy; 2. Rectal prolapse and/or grade 3-4 internal hemorrhoids diagnosed according to AGA diagnostic criteria; 3. Using drugs that affect the intestinal motility, such as: calcium antagonists, nitrates, anti-muscarinic drugs; 4. Take high-dose stimulant laxatives in the past 5 years (three times a week) 5. Is diagnosed IBS or Functional Abdominal Pain Syndrome according to Rome IV; 6. Is identified as grade 5 and above abdominal pain according to the visual analogue scale; 7. Suffering from intestinal obstruction.
