nasopharyngeal carcinoma case series:prophylactic level IB irradiation

18 Years to 70 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) histologically confirmed NPC by biopsy; (2) no evidence of distant metastasis; (3) receiving radical IMRT at initial diagnosis; (4) ECOG 0-2; (5) aged 18-70 years; (6) no pregnancy or lactation; (7) WBC= 4,000/ul, platelets= 100,000/ul; (8) Liver function:ALTAST < 1.5×ULNALP < 2.5×ULN,bilirubin< ULN; (9) serum creatinine= 1.6 mg/dl or 24hr. calculated creatinine clearance = 60ml/min; (10) Write consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) WHO pathological classification for diversification squamous cell carcinomas and basal cell carcinoma; 2) Palliative treatment; 3) History of other malignant tumors; 4) Pregnancy or lactation women of child-bearing age women who consider the pregnancy test, during treatment in patients with effective contraception); 5) History of radiation therapy; 6) Local lymph node of chemotherapy or surgery (except diagnostic procedure); 7) Any serious and may bring risks to test or impact test compliance with diseases, such as unstable heart disease, kidney disease, need treatment of chronic hepatitis, poor blood sugar control of diabetes (> 1.5 x ULN) fasting glucose and emotional illness; 8) Pregnant women
