Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults patients with type 2 diabetes were hospitalized in the Department of endocrinology in our hospital. The pre-hospital hypoglycemic regimen had been persisted for more than 3 months, and the blood sugar control was poor.(HbA1c was more than 8%). There was no alcohol consumption in the first 1 weeks before hospitalization, and no medications affecting uric acid metabolism, such as aspirin and losartan, were not taken. After hospitalization, all the patients in our hospital accepted standard diabetes meal in Department of Endocrinology.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) type 1 diabetes and other special types of diabetes; (2) acute complications of diabetes, such as diabetic ketoacidosis or lactic acidosis; (3) hypovolemia; (4) rheumatic immune diseases, Pregnancy, malignancy, infection, foot ulcers, mental illness, abnormal thyroid function, severe liver and kidney dysfunction, anemia, heart failure, respiratory insufficiency, etc.; (5) Patients with mental illness, cognitive impairment, and life can not take care of themselves.
