Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA) I–III patients scheduled for lower extremity surgery, in whom a CSE anesthesia was planned, were enrolled for this study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients will be excluded if they had a body mass index (BMI) > 28, clinically obvious or known spinal deformity, infection in the back, allergy to local anesthetic drugs, previous spine surgery, or coagulopathy.
