Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The principal caregiver who is the spouses of person with the diagnosed dementia based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. caregivers who were not spouses of relatives with dementia; 2. spouse caregivers who did not involved in major health care, decision-making and care of relatives with dementia; 3. spouse caregiver who currently had serious mental and/or physical illnesse(s) that was expected to be unable to complete the trial and/or to undertake care as the principle caregiver; or 4. spouse caregiver who simultaneously provided major care for another family member with a chronic medical condition or for a grandchild.
