Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) adult patients; (2) with unilateral renal calculi = 2 cm or large (diameter = 1.5 cm) impacted proximal ureteral stones.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) prior PCNL; (2) spinal deformity affecting B ultrasound localization; (3) severe blood coagulation dysfunction; and (4) severe insufficiency of heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, or other organs.
