18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) aged 18-60 years; (2) ASA I or II; (3) scheduled to undergo elective surgeries; (4) no history of hepatic or renal disease; (5) the weight deviated from their ideal body weight by no more than 25%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) the patients with suspected difficult airway; (2) the patients with a history of reactive airway disease such as asthma, COPD, a history of smoking; (3) a history of cardiovascular, erebrovascular or CNS diseases; (4) had opioids or dexmedetomidine from 12 hours before surgery to executing anesthesia; (5) history of chronic drug use known to alter the pharmacokinetics or pharmacodynamics of opioids or dexmedetomidine; (6) a history of allergy to opioids or dexmedetomidine; (7) a history of significant alcohol or drug abuse; (8) patients with oesophageal reflux.
