Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Subjects undergoing left atrial appendage occlusion with deep sedation in the cardiac intervention laboratory
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who are unable to tolerate the high flow nasal cannula secondary to discomfort; 2. Subjects who are with aspiration risks and will require endotracheal intubation; 3. Severe obstructive sleep apnoea; 4. Subjects with anticipated difficult airway; 5. Subjects with chronic carbon dioxide retention.
