Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Achalasia group: manifested by dysphagia and diagnosed with primary achalasia through the evaluation of endoscopic, esophageal manometry, esophageal angiography; Control group: patients with upper gastrointestinal tract at the same age, gender with achalasia group

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Achalasia group: 1. patients with secondary achalasia; 2. balloon dilation, botulinum toxin injection or Heller surgery were performed before POEM; 3. accompanied by esophageal stenosis or ulcers; 4. patients with digestive malignancies; 5. suffering from neurological diseases; 6. if the patient is undergoing medical treatment, discontinued to the drug 5 half-life time is needed; 7. the researchers think it is not suitable for other reasons to participate in the trial. Control group: patients whom had the symptoms of dysphagia, esophageal stricture, esophageal cancer, hiatal hernia, suspicious esophageal pressure, peptic ulcer and gastric cardiomegaly, or the history of thoracic and mediastinal hepatobiliary, esophageal and gastric surgery
