Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) aged 40-80 years, ASA I-III, BW 50-90kg; (2) scheduled for lumbar/sacral spine fusion under general anesthesia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) allergic to ropivacaine; (2) preoperative coagulopathy; (3) infection at the site of puncture; (4) BMI>40 kg/m2; (5) daily opioid use; (6) uncomprehensible to pain scale or difficult communication; (7) antiepileptic medication recently; (8) alcohol and/or medication abuse; (9) already attended other clinical studies.
