Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients over 18 years old fulfilling the 2010 American College of Rheumatology (ACR)/EULAR criteria or the 1987 revised American College of Rheumatology(ACR) criteria for RA; 2. RA is in remission or low activity with DAS28 ESR<3.2 for at least 4 months; 3. With a stable dose of prednisone or equivalent of 7.5mg/day for at least 4 months; 4. A stable dose of Synthetic Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs (sDMARDs) for at least 4 months; 5. Patients who have signed a written informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Biological Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs (bDMARDs) in the past 6 months; 2. A serum creatinine level over 133 umol/l for male and 124 umol/l for female; 3. A serum aspartate amino transferase(AST) or alanine amino transferase (ALT) level over 3 times the upper limit of normal; 4. Suspected or defined TB, HIV, HCV, HBV infection; 5. Concurrent pregnancy, wish to conceive during the study period, or inadequate contraception.
