Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. diagnosed as depressive disorder according to DSM-?/ICD-10; 2. Age >18years; 3. common food intake, without anorexia or other substances intake which affects index measurement, like hormone or hormone-like substances, vitamin supplement, chalybeate; 4. aware of aims, methods and the potential risks of this study. volunteer to participate in the research with the signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. psychogeny associated with brain disease; 2. mental disorder caused by psychoactive subtances or other non-addictive substances; 3. people suffering from somatopathy, including anemia, diarrhoea, cacochylia, and etc; 4. potential organic or drug-induced depression disorder or bipolar disorder, which can not be excluded in patients with depression; 5. pregnant or lactating women.
