Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients were drug-naive and were experiencing their first episode psychosis when enrolled to this study. They were diagnosed according to the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV-TR (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, forth edition, American Psychiatric Association, 2000), patient version (SCID-I/P), and all patients met the diagnostic criteria for schizoprenia. Patients had an onset age from 18 to 40 years, and had less than 1 year duration of disease. All participants were Chinese Han people and right-handed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants with a history of neurological illness, physical disorders or substance abuse, coma history, pregnancy and breastfeeding women were excluded from this study
