Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >18 years old; 2. Patients diagnosed definitely as HF ,including 1) All the patients with new attack of HF: diagnosed as HF for the first time(unprecedented); 2) Acute attack of chronic HF: diagnosed as HF before, and hospitalized for worsening HF this time; 3) Patients with HF during hospitalization. 3. No limits for etiology; 4. Being included continuously, the patients data(during hospitalization) ownership belongs to hospitals, there is no need to obtain the patients informed consents for the usage of the information from the medical record, but informed consent is required for blood samples collection and follow-up .If the patients refuse the follow-up and blood collection, their recorded data during hospitalization should be collected.

Exclusion criteria: No patient is excluded in the study.
