Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) A singleton pregnancy with age =35 years and a gestational age of 37 to 42weeks; 2) fetus with occipital presentation with normal descent during labor. The completed gestational weeks was determined by the date of the first day of the last menstrual period and confirmed by ultrasound scan.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Twin pregnancy and women with medical complications of pregnancy that will affect the delivery were excluded.
