Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. M3M was horizontally impacted, that is, on panoramic radiograph, the position of the impacted M3M to the long axis of M2M was horizontal; 2. panoramic radiograph also showed the M3M had multiple roots, with large root bifurcation, that is the distance between two root apexes was larger than the width of cervical trunk.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients had severe uncontrolled systemic diseases such as leukemia, lymphoma, hemophilia, cardiac diseases, cardiac dysrhythmias, hypertension, diabete, hyperthyreosis, renal disease and so on; 2. Patient ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) degree were III or above; 3. Patients had coagulation disorder; 4. female patient was pregnant or in menstrual cycle; 5. Patients were taking following medications: systemic corticosteroids, immunosuppressive agents, bisphosphonates and cancer chemotherapeutic agents; 6. Patients had history of therapeutic radiation in the head and neck region; 7. Patients had limitation of mouth opening and couldnt stretch three figures between the upper and lower central incisor when opening mouth; 8. Severe pericoronitis, ulcer or other inflammation existed in the area of M3M; 9. Patients who didnt assure to come back to hospital in the trials request.
