Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Graves disease: Incipient Graves disease patients that have not been treated before(duration less than 2 months). Mild Graves ophthalmopathy (GO): 1) nearly 2 months untreated Graves ophthalmopathy; 2) the CAS score less than or equal to 2 points. Moderate or severe Graves ophthalmopathy (GO)in activity: 1) moderate or severe thyroid eye disease in activity; 2) the CAS score more than or equal to 3 points; 3) NOSPECS grading at level 40 or above level 40; 4) course is less than three months, and the recent illness aggravating, including some increasing symptoms or signs and new appearance of signs or symptoms.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Graves's disease: 1) Patients can not tolerate anti-thyroid medication; 2) people with a serious history of mental illness or epilepsy; 3) people with active digestive tract ulcer,newly Gastrointestinal anastomosis,severe diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, glaucoma, osteoporosis, heart disease, heart failure, obvious damage of liver and kidney functions,or urinary calculus; 4) Pregnant and lactating women; 5) people with other autoimmune diseases. Graves'ophthalmopathy: 1) people with systemic fungal infection or The chest film shows the activity of tuberculosis with tuberculin test being intense positive,or Serological examination of the hepatitis series is abnormal with active riral replication,or the patients being unable to control bacteria,virus or fungus; 2) people with allergies to methylprednisolone; 3) people with a serious history of mental illness or epilepsy; 4) people with active digestive tract ulcer,newly Gastrointestinal anastomosis,severe diabetes,hypertension,hyperlipidemia,glaucoma,osteoporosis,heart disease,heart failure, obvious damage of liver and kidney functions,or urinary calculus; 5) pregnant and lactating women; 6) people with other autoimmune diseases.
